Molly Races for Life!

Jim Murphy's granddaughter 8 years old Molly competed in 'Race for Life' on Sunday 14th July 2013 in Barrow in Furness. This whiz of a girl, raced over the line in 43rd position out of 1000 competitors! She also edged out her mum Mary into 44th Place. Molly is pictured below proudly showing her medal!
Well done Molly an Mum Mary! A truly great effort for a truly worthy cause!

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of 5k or 10k women-only fundraising events, which are raising money for research to help beat all 200 types of cancer sooner.

Some sad news reported by Cathy Hegarty via Des Herlihy. 
Amelia Mage the little girl for whom we raised over £500 at the Murphy Family Reunion has passed away.
