The Queen's Award for Voluntary Services - The Liverpool Signing Choir

Catherine Hegarty was down the Palace last week to meet her ol' mucker the Queen. As it transpired The Liverpool Signing Choir were awarded The Queen's Award for Voluntary Services. This is the highest award a voluntary group can ever hope to receive. Congratulations to The Liverpool Signing Choir and to Cathy Hegarty for making this all happen. Catherine was also introduced to The Princess Royal, Princess Anne, who was very nice, and bought the first round of 2 pints of bitter! Cathy is picture below - she is the one in the middle!
