Michael and Laura
On Tuesday 29 October, at the age of 96, and in the bosom of her family, Laura Ellen Gomez Murphy passed peacefully into the arms of Our Lord, Our Saviour.
Wife of Michael Edward Francis Murphy, who departed this life on 2 October 1998;
beloved mother to Cecilia, Mary, Michael, Francis, Laura, James, Rita, Susan, Eamon, Cormac, Patrick, Daniel, Eugene, Therese, John; grandmother to 62, great-grandmother to 47; daughter of Ellen Evans and Anastasio Gomez, and sister to Evan, Francis and Cecilia; formerly of St Mary's Parish, Highfield Street, Liverpool and St Monica's parish, Bootle. Requiescat in Pace.

To Lauras family,
I met your mother at my dads funeral 4 yrs ago(Francis Cannon)and spoke to her for some time. When she asked me where I was from I replied 'Liverpool' she was thrilled and told me that she too was from Liverpool!!! (We were in Halewood....bless!) that story still makes me laugh. I love telling the italians about our huge family they always look so shocked! Eternal rest Laura from the Ambrosiani family Sauze d'Oulx Italy xxxx
