SPUC Silent Witness Protest at Loughborough

Members of of SPUC - Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child gathered today on a very cold Saturday morning near Loughborough University. The huddle picture shows teachers Mick Murphy(flat cap) and wife Anne (light pink hat & scarf). Both are life-long campaigners for Pro-Life. Mick is a native of Armagh and friend of Cormac Murphy, who is pictured to his left. To Cormac's left is Dr. David Drott, originally from Minnesota, but now domiciled in Loughborough. Fellow Pro-Life campaingnersDavid and Cormac are former lecturers at Loughborough University.

It was a very good turn-out despite the cold weather, and over the 2 hours, particpants numbered almost 100.

Many thanks to Mick and Anne Murphy and St. Mary's RC Church for helping organise this Silent Witness Protest event.

Hi there,

could we run a story about your protest in the Loughborough Echo?

If so, could you e-mail me some information and a few pics to Isaac_Ashe@MRN.co.uk

Thanks,
