VOTE CATHY HEGARTY! MERSEYSIDE WOMAN OF THE YEAR!

Cathy Hegarty has just found out someone has nominated her for 'Merseyside Woman of The Year'. She has no idea who nominated her, but I think we should all give her our support. She is currently in the final 25 out of 75 nominees. It goes to the public vote through the Liverpool Daily Post on June 2nd 2010. So make sure you get your vote in!
She is typically embarrassed by it all, but considers it a great honour.
The Daily Post launched its search for those women who deserve recognition for their achievements in a wide range of activities from business and commerce to charity work and entertainment. As we know Cathy has devoted many years of her time developing the Liverpool Signing Choir (see previous posting). The awards is now in its eighth year and firmly established in the region's calendar.
I will give you updates on how you can vote through the Liverpool Daily Post.
Cathy is pictured here with cousin Michael Murphy at last year's family reunion!
Good Luck Cathy! We're all rooting for you!
