Leam Wins Silver in World Club Championships!

Leam Murphy has won a Silver Medal in the World Club Crew Dragon Boat race at 200o metres. This annual International Event event took place in Hong Kong over the past week. He was racing for the Hong Kong Paddle club and his crew were narrowly beaten by the top Czech club side. This event is now on its 16th year and is the most competitive and intense Dragon Boating Championship in the world.

Leam has been racing for the past 4 years and competes in Dragon Boat and Outrigging races throughout Asia. What makes it even more remarkable is that his crew is all amateur and they are competing against full-time professionals.

Well done Leam!

By the way, Leam is also a good Evertonian!
