Patrick Murphy has some news from one of his 4 daughters, Rita .....

"Rita Arthur (nee Murphy) gave birth to baby Liam Patrick Robert. Weight 8lb 6oz.

He was born Monday 18th March at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary at 03.14am. Both mother and baby are very well. Rita is breast-feeding him with an occasional top-up of guinness.

Rita and Darren are the proud parents.

We were hoping that he would be born a little earlier on Sunday 17th March, St Patrick's Day, but he wouldn't come out despite Rita's best efforts. She looked and looked at the minutes ticking away on the Sunday night. He ended up being 3hrs and 14 minutes late."

Congratulations to proud parents Rita & Darren, and proud grandparents, Patrick & Audrey!
