Pat Murphy, son of Patrick and Audrey is currently serving in Afghanistan with the British Army. He is seen here in uniform and battle fatigues and also between his proud mum and dad. San Francisco and Bangalore Signing Ceremony

The occasion was the San Francisco's Sister City, Bangalore, Signing Ceremony on 20th October 2008. The two cities were hooked up by video conference with each other. It was 8am SF and 8.30pm in India. San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom sitting next to our own Jim Herlihy and shaking hands with him. Another picture shows the video link to India. Jim is currently Managing Director of Deutsche Bank in San Francisco.

Lourdes Accommodation Recommended

I met Father John Daley in Leicester recently and he highly recommends a guest house in Lourdes owned by an Aberdeen couple, John and Bernadette Wearing.
